My friends lets start the CFB gaming week off right. The crack research staff has been reviewing the marquee match up, a battle of PAC 10 teams. My friend this game opened with the home team a 21.5-point under dog. The line has ballooned to 26.5 yet the dog is still not receiving the respect they deserve, the betting public, the casual fan is still betting the favorite in fact the crack research team has noticed that the favorite is being taken over 80% of the time. My friend this is why you need the crack research team on your side. My friend you take Oregon State and tomorrow you go right to the bank. My friend first and foremost this is a rivalry game, second this is a home dog, third the betting public is usually wrong.
Turning our attention to MLB with the season winding down, hopes and dreams of play-offs, hopes and dreams of winning a division may be dashed. My friends as we say streaks will come to an end. My friends I am happy to report that just as MLB is gearing up for the play-offs and teams are raising their play to another level so to is the crack research staff. My friends the crack research staff was a blazing 4 and 1 yesterday up a whopping 3.75 units.

My friends there are several hotly contested play-off races in MLB first and foremost the crack research team is talking about the White Sox and Twins match up. My friends you take the Twins a slight favorite today.
My friends another team is on a loosing steak and this loosing will come to an end, take the Baltimore Orioles.

My friends since the inception of 5 Cents today the crack research staff has provided the vast majority of selections from MLB. My friends of the MLB selections most have been underdogs; for as you know we here at 5 Cents Today stress value.
My friends to date the crack research team has made 79 selections for you my loyal members. My friends the crack research staff is hitting at 58.2% overall. This my friend does not sound that impressive on it own; however, you must remember that the crack research staff has primarily focused on baseball, stressing value with the underdogs. It really doesn’t matter the winning percentage, as the real number is 9.5 that is 9.5 units you would be up if you followed all of the selections presented by the crack research staff to date.

However, my friends with only a handful of games left in the regular season and the play-off picture still not certain, the crack research staff has turned their attention to MLB; where there is value to be had in the final days of the season.
My friends as you know the crack research team watches streaks tonight there is a team in MLB that has lost 11 straight, 11 games in a row this team came up short. My friends this streak will come to an end. Therefore, you go with the Seattle Mariners, better yet you go with 5 Cents Today.

My friends the crack research staff is looking to bounce back with winners for you from the NFL.
My friends this week the crack research staff will focus on two theories, the first the aging veteran taking snaps, the second teams following a Monday night game.
My fiends there are two teams that are looking for a victory with season journeymen under center. My friends the Vikings have made the switch to 15-year veteran Gus Frerotte. Last week the Vikings were unable to make into the end zone, if one of the field goals was a touchdown Minnesota would have won. That is why the switch was made Frerotte is nothing fancy but he can keep the chains moving and provides a better chance in the red zone.
My friends in Tennessee we have a similar situation aging veteran Kerry Collins takes the helm. Last week Collins was solid, completing 75% of all attempts. Again he is not flashy; don’t look for 300 yards passing however, he will also keep the changes moving.
My friends as you know last Monday night we saw historic moments from the Cowboys and Eagles. My friends today you the loyal members of 5 Cents today will benefit from last week’s Monday night match-up. First off Dallas had an emotional victory last week, today the Cowboys have their hands full with the Packers. Dallas is coming off a short week; look for the Packers to prevail.
My friends last week the Eagles had a demoralizing loss. McNabb had a devastating fumble late in game and the Eagles came up short. It is of note that McNabb comes short often; through out his career in games decided by fewer than 7 point McNabb is 24 and 24. Look for that trend to continue today, take the Steelers.

My friends it is arguably the greatest day of the sports year. Today in college football powerhouses collided. There are four teams that meet today and the results will impact their hopes and dreams to be in Miami in January.
Moreover, my friends theses 4 teams are all from arguably the best conference in college football the SEC. That is right the SEC.
As discussed last week with Notre Dame (out right under dog winner) revenge will play a part in the Florida Tennessee match up. Last year the Gators ran up the score on the Volunteers, taking them behind the wood shed giving them the beating of a lifetime. My friends the Volunteers have circled this game on the schedule and remember the beating.
The crack research team here at 5 Cents today always monitors trends, the Gators have not covered the spread in 27 of their last 28 conference games, my friend look for this trend to continue, take the Volunteers.
In the other marquee match-up from the SEC, one needs to look no further than the Auburn Tigers hosting the LSU Tigers. My friend the crack research team can say with 100% certainty that the Tigers will win this game, that is right the Tigers will win. My friend all would agree that the Tigers will win this game.
In all seriousness which Tiger will be King of the SEC. The crack research team, has analyzed the trends, to date the Auburn defense is allowing a paltry 53 yards on the ground. As for third down conversions the Auburn defense is stopping their opponent 93% of the time. With a defense like it will make for a long day for the LSU offense. Better yet it will make for a long day for your book, your offshore, your man. Take Auburn and the under, take down your man.
